the step that is before the package driver is on its way?
I think so, yes.

If it's UPS they go amazing distances by truck in a single day, sometimes it surprises me. We'll have photos soon.

Michael probably won't get it until last thing in the afternoon (maybe 5:30pm).

Then he has a lot of things to check, so don't expect anything for at least 10 hours.

false topic title wtf? :(

It's a little ambiguous, but technically not false.
Sneaky case update - I saw it (I saw the case)
Sneaky case update - I saw it (I saw the sneaky update)

I just tend to keep my eyes open when wandering into threads like this.
Sneaky Case Update - I saw it

This statement means exactly what it says Sneaky Case Update is the subject, so I was IT it referring to the original subject Case Update. It can be interpreted how ever anybody thinks it means to them.

Craig, thanks for sharing the tracking info. I nominate this thread for most awesome thread of '09!

Why is the investors line so controversial? He did have the word *basically* there. The terms of our investment was to see a completed unit delivered to us.

Just Today I invested nine dollars in D'Angelo Sandwich Shops.

I hope that the delivery guy shows up soon to pay my dividends.

Because others have called themselves investors and then used that as some sort of spring board to demand more than what they were getting, as if OpenPandora had some sort of legal obligation to keep us up to date every time someone associated with the project so much as sneezed. Since most people don't seem to understand the difference between silent investment and active investment it's best to just avoid the term completely, in my not so humble opinion.

Oh I wonder if it will make it to Regina today.

Is that a joke about random shipping routing or does he actually live there? I ask because I was born there, and I would not wish the hell that is Regina on anyone. More so, why the hell is there an electronics design company in Regina (this is based on a few assumptions: MWeston is a design engineer, he works as such for a living, he is in Regina... = wtf).

Edit: No wonder it takes for ever to get stuff shipped to him... Regina is the wart on the anus belonging to a creature in the middle of nowhere. I know cities with 70k people that probably get stuff shipped there faster.

Regina was the only place in Canada where I managed to get *REAL* cheese.

real cheese in north america??? how can that be?

I managed to get absolutely delicious Danish Blue. I think it might have been imported.

Imagine my shock on previously buying a block of cheese to discover it was actually a block of that plastic stuff. Bizarre.

Well, I cannot comment on the culinary diversity of Regina, and can only hope you went there to meet MWeston and not some vacation. Yes, like the rest of north america, our local cheese isn't exactly what you'd call the 'original' stuff, but then, you don't see me harping on say, traditional British cuisine... :p

I do prefer imported to the local cheese anyway, but who ever chooses to eat mold ridden cheese is an odd person to me.

Anyway, we all do hope for good news to come regarding the case. Perhaps that's why MWeston is so dedicated to this, he needs something to help forget he lives in Regina (cold (like -40c), snowy, and windy in the winter, dry hot and dusty in the summer).

It isn't that hard to find good cheese, but if you're not watching out, you'll end up with a block of emulsifier-laden snot. Around here, anyway, good cheese is a luxury item, only to be found in specialty stores and organic markets.

It's similar to beer, in a way. Most of the mass consumption stuff is rubbish, but there's a North American microbrewery renaissance that a lot of Europeans are unaware of.
