My last line simply means that you are the first person we can proove has, or at least had pornography for use on the Pandora! You should be proud of yourself.
he's the first? I have porn on all my devices. I thought that was the thing to do? Oh well.

Many have porn on their devices, but documented proof of ones viewing pleasure is not generally available in a public forum.....

EDIT: At least not this kind of forum.

All this would certainly explain the frustration at being unable to play HD clips :D

is this player better than panplayer?

From what I've played on it so far, yes. Certainly handles XviDs better.

are you religous? people of faith usually have these points of view, its very healthy to enjoy "special" videos from time to time, you can even watch them with your gf/wife to :)
Yes i'm very religious but i'm not doing this because of my faith,i always thought watch something that everyone can watch in family and friends, why watch something which you can't see front of everyone,if your wife tells you watch it then that's fine.

In our community we aren't allowed to watch these kind of videos,to be honest no one is allowed to watch them unless your desperate or something.

It's boring watching this kind of material.

Oh yes it's much better than panplayer it plays all videos smooth and has so many features just like vlc player.

One thing was bad about panplayer was using the external drive if you have folders on the cd it will show blank video when clicked on folder only videos can be seen if the videos are just on cd without folder and can't play dvd discs,no dvd menus on smplayer everything can be seen through folders and dvd's work with menus.

Dvd's works on smplayer2 through dvd from folder not dvd from drive with smplayer2 doing that gives you complete dvd player experience,if you prefer to use external drive to watch dvd discs.

Is there a way to make all video file extensions (and dvd .iso files) open with this as the default player?

Please verify your permissions on /dev/scd0

At the terminal type:

Code:
groups

And verify that you are in the cdrom group.
when i typed groups i got this from terminal adm audio video plugdev isers wheel sukhiextreme2012 netdev.

Sorry, I'm not sure how else I can help. The link above gives you the command to add yourself to the cdrom group. It appears like either you didn't do that, or there is something wrong with the command. It worked for me- so I don't know.

Just a suggestion- it would be nice if you did a little of your own research and investigation into things instead of asking to have your hand held through every obstacle.

I think there's no use trying it out anymore,it just won't work.

It does work from dvd from folder perfectly well and all dvd menus appear.

When will the vcd be enabled and will the audio cd's work if the vcd option comes available.

Sigh. Before you just say it just doesn't work, can you confirm that you have added yourself to the cdrom group?

I'll add vcd support in the next release. Audio CDs should hopefully be working now (support is enabled) but again you need to be in the cdrom group.

Sounds good. I don't have an external cd/dvd drive so that is not an issue for me.
