So yesterday i tried to porting 3 Games using OpenGL on the Pandora Slackware

with the OpenGL Reimplimetation and your new patched SDL.

All Compilingtrying was broken with serveral Errors but one Game compiled with Warnings.

It was GLJewel but when i start the Game from Console,i have a frozen Pandora and only Hardreset work. :(

I have a not blinking Pointer in the left upper and rest is Black Screen when i start gljewel.

The next step is try to Compile Foobillard,i hope the best ;)

Edit: Have you a new Rootfs with your Patches?

Soon ;^).

Load sbopkg as su - , then create the folders.

Exit the /root/sboflags.sh

Then sbopkg, load the jeux (games) queuefile, and let them go.

Be careful to disable big ones, some are just a x86 repackage.

Great work! I also need to upgrade to the new version ASAP.

Linux-SWAT, any chance that you can sort out the PND problems soon, that require the user to click that green checkmark, in order to reload pndlib?

Tried all i could.

Anyway, it's not a bad thing finally when having Slack and pnd versions of the same program.

Bug solved.

Will produce a new rootfs as soon as possible.

Fixed the MHz per unit (600 or 1000).

Also fixed the screensaver-off script/menu entry which was incomplete, thus not working.

All versions:

As root, a

chmod +x /etc/profile.d/lang.sh

is needed to have the proper utf-8 encoding.

Will be corrected in the next release.

Ok, been poking a round for an hour or two. Successfully installed libevent, tmux, and Puredata from your slackbuild-repo.

However .. now I'm having major issues getting the pandora scripts to run.

Trying the wifi and usb toggle I get a popup that says mounting the PND failed.

The out-files reveal:

sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified

ERROR: The Union File-system is not mounted !

...

Return code is : 5

Also the window-manager doesn't work correctly anymore for some programs (terminator doesn't have WM-borders and such).

Not sure what I did to cause this.

Finally: how can I change the hostname? I've changed it with 'sysctl -w kernel.hostname=', but after a reboot it is reset to 'darkstar' :p

Btw, I cán manually start op_wifi.sh

Yes, also added uucp since I want to be able to access the serial-ports.

After first boot everything was fine, just after my slight poking did everything slowly fall apart ..

[Edit: oops, the WM-borders-thing was a setting I accidentally set in terminator! so the only problem I have now is launching the pandora scripts from the buttons]

What is the output of

sudo /sbin/lsusb

?

Hmm, lsusb is not in /sbin/ but /usr/bin/

But otherwise I get: unable to initialize libusb: -99

Thank you Linux-SWAT for providing slackware on the pandora.  I got my pandora today, put slackware on and it is running beautifully.
