    I rather wait and have an awesome device that lasts for a couple of years than a rushed out device that will break apart 1 day after its 1 year warranty runs out (applies to about 99% of all smartphones nowadays...).
    Although I bought the GPD Win to try it out, I do not (and never) expect it to last a long time. And spare parts for cheap electronics are just not part of the concept of dish out electronics
    So I can be quite patient regarding the release date of the pyra

    At some point enough is enough though. Just like people flipping about the MUX and demanding a full redesign at the cost of another couple years.

    What is left anyways? The software, the eMMC issue and the keymat right? Or am I missing something? Feels really close now but I've had that feeling for a while now :p

    afaik the eMMC issue turned out to be very insignificant anyway so that's basically sorted. Also there was something about the case too

    Whoa that's great! I don't think there's too much left to do now hopefully (if the case is fine). Anyone know the progress on the OS?

    What a relief. :)
    It's not done until it's done.

    Fast-good-cheap, pick two. We don't have the money, so cheap is non negotiable. We want a good device, so fast is not an option.

    I don't know if it was commented or if somebody asked before but, will the Pyra support quick charge?

    @EvilDragon

    Got any of that newzzz? Seems like things should be wrapping up with the keymats done, the cases all good and the board testing going on over the last couple weeks....I just bought a voucher to go along with my preorder and I am getting antsy.

    Plus I have a lot of trips coming up in Aug/Sep/Oct and it would be nice to have a Pyra

    Working on a news post, will be posted later today.

    I'll also have some other post planned for tomorrow.

    I'm using the work-free easter holidays for that :D

    I have to say, what the Pandora and the Pyra teaches me was: im not waiting for the News because it's gives new Infos about Pandora or Püra, I wait for the News because the News themselves..
    it's hard to explain..
