 Badgers.

@Torpor: But if we don't wear label clothing, how else can we show our support for sweatshop labor?

Thanks rokdcasbah. I referenced Blazing Saddles but added the clip from Sierra Madre cause it was funnier cause that guy is all pissed off about the badges  The person that posted the clip also called it "we don't need no stinking badges".

But yeah, no steenking badges por favor. Gracias.

Maybe people who want em could buy a sheet of stickers from somewhere. Maybe Craig and ED will sell em eventually

Very first operation performed on my laptop was badge/sticker removal. If you're going to put them on, they'd best be easily removable.

I voted no, as I don't a badge soiling my Pandora experience (especially a Linux one - I'm buying a powerful handheld gaming device, not no stinkin' computer. That is runs Linux is irrelevant to me). My GP32 doesn't have one, nor does my GP2X or PSP. Any logos or whatever on those three devices are part of the case itself.

That 'MWeston wuz here' one, however.....

If enough people do want one, maybe they could be included as a little sticker like they are with computer CPUs, so people can choose whether they want to stick one on or not. Then everyone's happy.

"MWeston wuz here" or whoever licked it for good fortune, THAT is what we need!

Besides, if I get the real hang of drawing in Photoshop and get my Mindstorms stuff working again, maybe I can engrave some neat patterns with a DVD-RW laser....or is that taking everything a little too far? Hell, we need a casemod forum!

I do not like addon logos and stickers, I would not want a badge pre-applied to it before coming to me! I always tear them off.

I'm not geek enough to come up with some kind of equation that attempts to prove that 2 Months is equivalent to 13 (and counting...) months, but if I was I'd suggest it as a case badge...

-26 = -26 [this is trivial]
4 - 30 = 169 - 195 [rewrite as subtractions]
4 - 30 + 56.25 = 169 - 195 + 56.25 [add 56.25 to both sides]
(2 - 165/22)^2 = (13 - 165/22)^2 [ a^2 - 2ab + b^2 = (a - b ) ^2 ]
2 - 165/22 = 13 - 165/22 [add 165/22 to both sides]
2 = 13 [wait, what?]

There you go.

EDIT: stupid smilies

I actually would really like some, but only if they are [almost comically] small. Small enough to be cute at least, like 14mm x 8mm (think 3/4 the size of an intel atom badge). I'd get some to match my eee's badges & poke fun at the whole idea.

Division by zero ? WTF ? Line 4 simply states that (-5.5)^2 = (5.5)^2 <=> 5.5=5.5, because you cannot just remove the ^2’s.
