Pandora Backgrounds

Here's mine. I like simplicity :p

Here's a few of mine that I use regularly:
I spy another Mega Man background.

Hehehe...

EDIT: It has come to my attention that I really ought to re-post the desktop backgrounds that formerly resided in the firmware, for easy access. Here they are (in URL form, since there are too many of them to post up in a practical fashion);

Brand new wall paper for this thread :)

Here's a wallpaper I made - featuring "PANDORA" in Greek letters, replacing the Omega with the Pandora logo (which kind of looks like an omega to me), and some art blended in which I got from the wikipedia article on Pandora (copyright for the art has expired so I guess this is no problem).

And here is the Gimp .xcf file, in case someone wants to tweak it. (I had to gzip it, for some reason I'm not allowed to upload .xcf files)

Something with a background of binary digits might be interesting... any ideas anyone?

It wouldn't be that difficult to do, but I doubt I'd have the time until at least the weekend.

Also, would it be a good idea to make this forum for wallpaers that feature either the Pandora or the Pandora Logo? That way it wouldn't be so much of a duplicate of the other threads on here already.

Well Prometheus is a busy beaver, liked the black & white 2 wallpaper, the 2months one made me chuckle

^ I should stress that those aren't mine! They were all made by other people. It's just that they used to be in the firmware and now they're not, so with a lack of anywhere else to get them back at the point when they were removed, I re-uploaded them last year when folks were asking for them. :p

This just seemed to be as good a place as any to share the links again, as it's more obvious than the thread in the Support section where it originally came up. :p

Binky requested something with a background of binary digits. I made something like that. Source .xcf file (at 1600x960 resolution, so you can use it on bigger screens as well) is also attached, in case anyone wants to make modifications. The digits are binary digits of pi. The logo is from the 3D logo wallpaper.

Here is a rough idea of how to use the box from the Pandora logo as a font - I don't really see a use for this, but perhaps it inspires somebody else so I just post it here.

Here's another wallpaper based on the 3D logo. The image upload on the new website still does not work by the way.

This is all I've had the chance to do so far, it's pretty basic and not all that different from what _wb_ posted. I also haven't had the chance to try it out on the pandora yet, which probably means they're a little too dark. Also, the green one came out much nicer for some reason.

As a side note: The numbers used are from a code generator I wrote a few years ago. I've repeatedly offered a reward of $500 for anyone who can break it and show their method, but nobody has managed to do it so far, though one person came suprisingly close.
