Hiya,
Well just as the topic title states, I built a ledscreen from a discarded led worklamp, that been running for over 2 months now, on two double A batteries... First video shows the initial start of the new program, second shows the state a week ago, no much has changed since then.
The plan is to have some simple PCB's fabricated for the control board, and for the led screen surface area. Max with the current setup is 16x5 leds. Also enough to power a 4x4x4 ledcube, but thats the next project.
Text can eventually be changed by serial comms, and perhaps even some basic video streaming, but not sure about that yet, thats new terrain. And with the demonstrated low current draw, it could easily be powered from the Pandora for a useful period of time.
