However, I still don't understand where super sprint and championship sprint are in the fxe's...
your welcome what files you missing from those?
I'm not entirely sure, they're not actually showing up at all for me to run.

Can you see them in your rom list?

Super sprint just doesn't show up at all....I have no idea why.

neither does star wars but I didn't think vector games worked anyway.

Interesting.... I just ran the CSPRINT and SSPRINT roms through clrmame, added the missing roms from my 0.33 beta 6 set, and fixed 'em up. Stuck 'em on my laptop running mame 0.34 (final) and they worked fine.

But.... they won't show up on my GP32.

Unless they ain't in the Atari fxe..... then I'm out of ideas.

to all of you who are wondering game makers names can check out CEASAR (Catalogue of Arcade Emulation Software - the Absolute Reference it is)

it has a alphabetical game list. it also shows the necessary rom files needed.

Has anyone got Tiger Heli or Slapfight to work properly ?

Both appear half way down the screen making it impossible to play. PM me if you have a decent version please

Yes i've tried that but the game still appears halfway down. I think i must have a weird corrupt set or something

Great port, found some old classics to keep me busy for quite a while and they run very nicely. A couple of observations:

- Sometimes loading a rom will work fine but the screen will stay black, changing the sound / clock speed can make it work

- Screen orientation switch is very nice, although an option to switch buttons A & Start for this mode would help portrait mode

- A little dark on the FLU unit, is a brightness control on your todo list?

- Very nice pause control! I use this a lot

- Any chance of saving the config?

- ...and possibly dip switch controls?

But all in all it's a very tidy emulator, hope you stick with it. thanks.

I have the same problem...maybe it's a bug with Mame on gp32. I have tried a few different Tiger Heli roms and it's the same with them all.

Absolutely none of my roms are working apart from Klax.

The rest are missing so many files, due to the changes between 0.93 and 0.34

Oh well.

Nope, can't be, I used a complete 0.91 set and are only missing 10 roms for 0.34.

Follow these instructions and you should be fine:

1. Create an empty directory (this will be the directory where your GPMAME roms will be in the end)

2. Open clrmamepro (the LATEST VERSION!)

3. Add the datfile from GPMAME. Then select LOAD / UPDATE.

4. Settings: Just change the rom path to the created empty directory.
It will moan that no sets are found there, which is okay (as we don't have any sets in there yet)

5. Select "Scanner". You don't need to change any settings, just be sure "Split Sets" is selected. Press the "Scan" button.

6. It should scan fast, as in the roms directory, there's nothing in yet.
See the "Scan Results" window? Leave that open!

7. Now use the Windows Explorer to open the folder where your MAME roms reside.
Select ALL zips and drag them into the Scan Results window.
clrmamepro will now begin rebuilding 0.34 sets in the empty directory.

8. After it's finished, your GP32-ready roms are in this directory :)
Yay :)
But: You can delete ALL roms which are larger than 6MB (GP MAME doesn't support them) and ALL Neo Geo roms...
Now copy these games over onto your SMC and enjoy playing :)

BTW: If you want to add new roms, just do "Scan" again and drag the new roms into the Scan Results directory.

Pleeaaassssseeeeee heellpppp mmmmmeeeee................

I've been trying for days and, well.....

I have done all that you said, but as a complete nonce, it will not work. I'm going maD, mAD mmaaaddddd, D'ya hear?

Okay,

1. Should the empty directory be on the SMC card, or on my hard disk?

2. Have the latest version.

3. What is the data file from the gpmame? I have two.....

4. I change the rom path toothe new folder I created. It doesn't moan anything. Not a whimper. It is content

5. I press scan, it scans every rom on my system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the speccy Gppcengine etc. They all have red crosses by them???????????

The main thing is that it finds all the roms, (for every emu), and none of the mame roms don't have that red cross!!!!

If noneone helps me, I'm gonna, gonna, I'm gonna cry!

Thank you, and goodnight!!!

1. Should be on your harddisk and then copied over to your SMC.
You can also do this on your SMC, but as CLRMAMEPRO zips and rezips, it will take a lot of time...

3. I had the beta and the data-files weren't included, so I don't know which one.
What dats are in the archive?

4. and 5. If it scans every rom on your system, you have a rompath setup to a root folder on your harddisk.
Make sure that the only rompath is the one to your empty directory!
