I'd love to know the battery time of it. I'm a bit scared that it will only run a couple of hours with demanding games.
It's really time someone develops a miracle battery
Maybe better batteries aren't the way to go but rather very small generators/reactors.Yeah, almost 30 years have passed and it's the GameGear story again
A comparison at this point is not possible, as the Pyra doesn't even have proper power saving included yet.
The Pandora also only had a battery life of 7 - 8 hours at the beginning, and now with optimizations, it can reach 12 hours.
GPD can't optimize a lot on the WIN (as it uses stock Windows), but the Pyra can be optimized.
Something like TinyOS10 could be made, but with a bit less optimization, I guess.Yeah I think they cannot optimize the Windows version that much, but they promised to release an optimized one so let's see how when they will release it.
Because it cannot be fully disabled (and it will be even less "disablable" with the anniversary update).I think disabling cortana would save quite a bit of battery actually. Not sure why that's a joke.
Installing Windows 10 itself should be a waste of 'battery'. I just need help for my Surface 3 : people from Microsoft came and gave those for free. And I have no idea how to get rid of the OS it comes with. (Windows 10)Because it cannot be fully disabled (and it will be even less "disablable" with the anniversary update).
My Pandora quite often reaches close to 48 hours since the last OS update. Granted, that's mostly doing nothing but playing a little music for an hour or so of that time, but it all counts I reckon!A comparison at this point is not possible, as the Pyra doesn't even have proper power saving included yet.
