Sad. It's not only sad the day they get a vaccination that they don't want. It's sad every single day that they are forced to do things
they don't want or don't understand or plain nobody else is able to tell whether they understand and don't want or just don't understand.
Care of disabled people would be hard enough without those moments.
And of course there are abuses, people who are robbed of their right to decide things without just reason, etc.
I always think "the crazy ones" have the same reason to think I'm crazy (or we all are) and think they should decide for me than I have to decide they are crazy and can't decide.
And I think if we need to handle them so, we could at least not film it, post in youtube and make a circus of it.
After all if they cannot decide to refuse a vaccine they cannot decide to allow a recording, can they ?
Er.. no, I don't. At least world wide.
There are some public records of reports of post-vaccination events, including deaths, but I don't know all sources and I don't know whether that's public for all territories.
Be careful to read the description of the datasets. I think all pharmas are required to report all events world wide to each Agency, but the Agencies also collect reports from other sources
in their territories, so look out, among other things, if the number is for the territory or for the world or what.
Don't worry, @Phlyra If you need to distract yourself from COVID, you can always think about how 3 people were just killed in an attack on an Iranian oil tanker, which is sure to have repercussions in that region.
Being from where I am, I use the Elizabeth City incident to take my mind off COVID currently.
But @netcat recently got a first dose of an unknown brand and his avatar changed from a photo of a (crazy?) man to a drawing of a woman. I bet that's above the expectation of spontaneus gender change.
And thus a new conspiracy theory was born...
Interesting hypothesis. I've seen it happen in nature where some fish? changes gender if there are only one gender in the vicinity (no, not like men in prisons).
Teach a man he is fish...
The South Africa variant of the coronavirus might evade the Pfizer vaccine, according to a new study from Tel Aviv University and Israel’s largest healthcare provider. The study, which was published Saturday and still requires peer review, looked at 400 individuals who tested positive for the...

A /pol statement about India's high amount of contagion:
@FBnil Hmm, my gums feel okay right now, but they've been pretty bad in the past. I admit, I tend to only brush before I go out, which isn't exactly every day.
In good news for my mouth, my coffee drinking has been down a lot lately. Coffee just kinda makes me nauseous now for some reason.
It's not surprising. After I've taken my daily espressos I sometimes need to eat something (usually a biscuit) about half an hour later, because it's making my digestion a little unstable. For such a daily staple it's surprisingly noxious.
I just checked Twitter, and I probably shouldn't have. Just a reminder, your opinion of whether pride flags should be flown at US embassies should have nothing to do with your opinion of Newt Gingrich. Freaking internet doesn't know what ad hominem is. Makes sense, why study a dead white guy language?
Sorry about that last post, I'm just afraid that Biden's diplomacy is just as much "in your face" as Trump's was, and it's not helping us. Kinda weird to lead a climate change summit when you're still the top consumer of everything on Earth, and your stimulus only made things worse for everyone outside America.

He didn't. The conference was international in nature and meant to be hosted in Glasgow I think (although in practice all of it was handled by zoom this time round). His change in the message of America was the biggest change this time round, but he didn't host it and he didn't lead it.
The next big wave of COVID infections, already hitting states such as Michigan, will be dominated by people who have been fully vaccinated. This was predicted by the authors of a scientific study p…

This paper says yvaccinated shed mRNA into the air (for all to breathe):
You certainly did a good job in collecting them in your last post. Thank you, although it takes hours for me to wade through them. Good data. *tips hat*
Some MIT smarty-pantses are saying the six-foot rule doesn't work in most indoor spaces, because smaller droplets containing COVID-19 will just wade around the room.
Airborne transmission arises through the inhalation of aerosol droplets exhaled by an infected person and is now thought to be the primary transmission route of COVID-19. By assuming that the respiratory droplets are mixed uniformly through an indoor space, we derive a simple safety guideline...
