As long as the Savedata for the Omap Emulator and the Rockship Emulator are Compatible, its not that big issue for me..
Either two repos, or maybe a repo with a tag for the compatible architectures of a DBP, with a filter somewhereSo we might need a split repo or an option to upload two versions one for each chip?
Why? The OpenGL ES API is standardized for a reason, they should only link against the OpenGL ES library. It does not matter if that one depens on any other driver-specific libraries, they do not become dependencies of the application itself. All you should need is a 32bit version of the OpenGL ES implementation of the GPU driver for the Rockchip.but I know the 3D games are likely compiled against the OMAP5 SGX libraries.
Awesome dog. Looks like an english sheepdog, what do you call them in German? It's also smart that it seems to understand you if you tell it 'it's okay' in english, unless you normally speak to it in english. Although I guess okay by now is probably a common German word. I know that 50 years ago over here it was considered an americanism.
I wonder: Was the internal Storage also on the CPU Board? So lets say when pull out the Omap, the whole Omap Debian will be still there?
i have my Data anyway on the SD Card, and only the Software from the Debian Repo was installed on the 32gb Internal Storage.. so i would have to flash a new Pyra Debian on SD Card, and then just install my Office Stuff, and Download the Rockship DBPs ..

There should be plenty of space for a multiarch installation to stay compatible. It's Debian, after all.
With the new SOC we will have enough Power to Emulate Playstation2..yayy
From my understanding by default software will try and use the slow MESA OpenGL ES and not the SGX accelerated ones. Which is why every example I've seen how to compile for the OMAP5 includes:Why? export CFLAGS="-I/opt/omap5-sgx-ddk-um-linux/include" LD_FLAGS="-L/opt/omap5-sgx-ddk-um-linux/lib"
Yes it will be not the fastest PS2 Emulation but with AetherSX2 Alpha..there exist a Video with RK3568 and PS2 on Youtube.I doubt that, as there's no mobile SoC out there that can do proper PlayStation 2 yet.
Yes, the x86 can, but these won't work with a way bigger battery and active cooling fan...

It is possible and maybe when Aether SX2 will be more optimized in the Future and maybe Framedropping..
..it should work good enough for most beautyfull turn based RPGs like Ar Tonelico or Atelier Iris 1-3.
Thats why i asked for a "Gamer Cooling System Upgrade".Though we don't know how much that will heat up the CPU
There is no off the shelf solution to implement something like this and Evildragon doesn't have several million dollars for research and development like Samsung, LG or Apple...Why not a water cooling system, I've seen a smartphone with this, in summer with 30*C the phone feels cold in my hand. Amazing ! (at least for me)
- are these compatible to the old Cases? , So I can let the Hinge and Display Stuff untouched?
- Is it possible to pull of the Batterie Compartment Sticker whitout Damaging it and put it on the new Batterie Compartment?
It's on the PCB, so not attached anywhere on the case. Was the Heat Sink Block on this Bottompart, or was it on the Part where the Keyboard and the USB Ports are??
- How to deal whit the Shoulderbuttons? They are Springloaded, so are they under tension, or can I just put them back in like on the Pandora?
- And is it still the First Batch Edition when I changed the Bottompart and the CPU Board later ?
So will it still be worth a few 1000 , when I put the Pyra on EBay in 10 Years..
Thats why i asked for a "Gamer Cooling System Upgrade".
For Fullpower Gamers maybe a little Fan on the Heatsink inside.
Maybe a little Fan on every Air Holes..one for blasting Air inside an one for blasting the Heat out...
...just an Idea..
..for more Full Cpu Gaming Time and a a faster cooling for the recharging System
Many Users do not need that because many do not like Fans but with a little Solution like this..every User will have the Choice by himself
