Why?

While reading SD I came across: http://pandoraboxx.com/ there is a videoclip different... its... different.
I can only see some guys there seeming to completely define themselves through their sexual orientation and way of dressing and desperately trying to be someone to remember, how exactly are they different from any other sheeple you meet anywhere that do not add much to humanity?

Interesting. I think we all have something to prove to others. If it is not visual (dressing, haircut, etc) it is through other things (skill, highscore, getting on TV, being the biggest fan, collecting stuff etc). If not right at the moment, I remember needing recognition in highschool (stuff like who has the highest mark or spits the furthest or who read the book first) in order to not be a loner. To some extend, we ARE social beings and all.

As for the difference between Pandora and the average Joe.... maybe the Joe just has given up. Working to pay the bills and waiting for death to take him away, maybe have a laugh now and then while waiting.

Not to say they are not interesting... even the most plain person, once you get into a conversation, can have many interesting aspects, other viewpoints. A bit like "if you can not see how great/fun/interesting I am it is your fault", which has to be met half way in order to work.

And in that sense, we only get to see that webpage which is only one side of the coin. Do you know how sick and tired performers get of singing the same song, over and over again, just because the people request it. And then, they have these new songs they are exited about, self written, self composed, more mature, better than that song... but no...the people still request that same old song... it's a facade sometimes. The show must go on.

Here we have a clown, Bassie, from "Bassie en Adriaan" and when he is not dressed as a clown, man... he wants to be treated normally, not get pushed into his clown role. Some people accept and cope with the role/stamp society gives them, others rebel against it.

tl;dr

I think this Pandora guy just wakes up and what drives him is that he does NOT want to be himself. But, not to overanalize... we have a Pandora box and she is called Pandora Boxx... that's all I wanted to point out (keep it fun and absurd, this IS the abs-err-this-ehm corner after all)

oh... and this song serves as a warning, for everyone searching. They are virtually everywhere, posing as anything.

That prediction drawing on cover of Byte there is great.

They were right about the computer watch, the miniature floppy disc is funny and that QWERTY k/board looks like would be impossible to use

It is a great cover.  My guess is you poke the keys with something to type.  A bigger problem for me would be reading text of the size shown.

Wait I know this one, it's a frog.
You must be joking, since it is obviously a snake.  Remember, they left that piece out.
