I think the reason why most of the forum regulars don't doubt Craig and the others is that all the people involved in this have proven themselves on other occassions as reliable businessmen. ED and Craig are some of the largest distributors of the GP2X and also without a doubt the most present...
I've given up on Civ. When you approach the end stages, there are so many units on the map that if I leave it for a day or two, I'm completely out of the loop. I used to play full games during an entire day, but I just can't do that stuff any more.
I am sorry. By "company presence" I assumed you meant that the company was present with information on the project, etc, which is why I drew those comparisons. My entire post is redundant due to this lapse in comprehension. My apologies.
The people who annoy me, the people I directed my post...
Oh, really? How much did you know about the iPhone 4 months before it came out? What was the level of company presence, as you call it, before the Wii or the PS3 came out? Are you aware that you're actually given the opportunity to come right into an open internet forum and ask the actual people...
Oh yeah! You're absolutely right.
In that case, however, the portability becomes less of an issue and I'd rather have something like this: http://www.ciao.co.uk/Logic_3_USB_PC_Game_...me_pad__5815443

I know, and you'll notice I'm one of the regular contributors to these kinds of threads (and very very few of the "let's bicker about how awesome/ crap the Pandora is going to be!" threads) so I really agree with both you and Craig and pretty much all the people who've posted logo suggestions...
That sure doesn't work so well for other gadgets! I worked in a photo store, and the most expensive cameras we had were the ones we earned NOTHING on. Literally. We would rather sell cheap-arse cameras than SLRs because we actually made money off them without the extra sales.
Basically, the...
I vote for a magazine. Doesn't even have to be PC Format. Would be funny if we made a fake magazine with a fake Pandora-centric cover and just use the standard magazine format on it.
Aaand maybe a ruler.
Oh man, that is the exact model my father used to have!! Oh, the naughty background images he'd end up with on it whenever he'd left it around during a holiday at the cabin. Come to think of it, maybe that's why he doesn't have PDAs any longer! ^_^
Great stuff, Shiro! Looks very good.
(As you've seen from my one suggestion, I'm not much of a designer in practice, but I do have a lot of theoretical knowledge and an eye for design. Just not the hands for it. DAMN THESE HANDS!!!)
