cool...does this address the # of roms issue at all? (Thanks for the release)

Now there's a question... I hope I've uploaded the right version! It *should* be fixed now, but I forgot to mention it. You seem to have more ROMs than anyone else, so let me know if it's OK :)

Excellent news fishy, I'll be trying it in a few minutes.

I'm also gushing with pride at the use of my background. Glad people like it. :)

well I just updated, doesn't seem to work at all...

I'm going to see if I messed anything up

EDIT: seems Super Mario doesn't work :/ I'll try a diff rom, long names work tho

Is it me, or are NES A and B still reversed in the config file?

Long file names seem to be working though, which was definitely most important to me in this release.

works like a champ w/ 742 roms in the directory. Thanks a lot fishybawb, this is a great release. I look forward to more releases with improved graphical compadability and speed improvements (can't wait for Mike Tyson's punchout at full speed!) Keep working on this emu, it IS appreciated. BTW- glad you added the background, it's a nice add on. It's nice that people are making splashes and stuff...just shows you how many people have been anticipating a good nes emu

a lot of games that worked w/ the previous version do not work with this one (like 10 yard fight). Also, eventually it would be nice to have frame limiter as some games run too fast and some not nearly fast enough (frameskip doesn't always compensate correctly). I'm sure this is something that will come in time with speed increases and other optimizations. Keep rocking and I hope compatablility improves soon.
EDIT: Demonstar55, I think if you arrange the roms in your directory alphabetically on your sd (auto arrange), they will be listed that way in fishynes...it's just not automatically that way

Well, it saves and loads with Final Fantasy. Zelda loads, but now Link gets stuck going in the cave or exiting the screen, which worked (almost) fine before.
I'm keeping two versions of FishyNES on my card.

Wishlist stuff: The option to use frameskip up to "unplayable" speeds. I find that a great utility for RPGs with too many random battles, where all I need to do is press NES_A without even looking at the screen. Turbo would work great with this, too ;)
One would have to be careful when switching speeds tho, to not get booted out :p
Thanks for this great emu!

I have to say version C totally breaks most games and in most is a deprovement to B.

This is quite a let down, just can't wait for the next release.
