GPH does not have the money to do worldwide advertising and it probably would not even pay off. We've got the power to do something, though. Let's design some advertisements! Of course we should not stop there. I say mass print them, give them to everyone and put them everywhere you can. As many different places as possible and legal spots preferred, of course. ;) Maybe distributors could even package 10 small advertisement posters (A4) with each GP2X with a note to encourage people to advertise the system if they like it.

Of course I'd like to do a design contest but we need some prizes. Any suggestions?
If there is any interest in this I'll work out some rules.

BOMB BOMB!!1 GP2X GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 LOL!

We need Reirom to handle advertising. (for those who understand the reference. :) )

yeah, a gp2x street team ... good idea ...

i hope gph does well, or at least well enough to make a gp3x some day ... but i have the feeling they'll do it anyway, judging from the way gp32->gp2x worked.

I think the GP32 was not what kept Game Park alive. Sure, it did surprisingly well, but I don't think it would have survived if it was Game Park's only product. They had other stuff, too, didn't they? The GP2X has to do better but I don't think that is impossible. The community just has to try hard to get developers and, important, paying customers on board and we have to get the press to take the thing serious. I'll get a GP2X section up at gamefreaks365.com and write as much as I can but contact your favourite press sites and print magazines about it, too. A GP2X section at IGN and Gamespot is the goal. Have they even written about it, yet? Hell, they've got a section for the Gametrac, f*cking overhyped piece of shit. The GP2X should sell more units than that... thing... at least.
