Contacting The Press...

what you have to realise it that sites like slashdot are very biased towards certain things,

anything with linux, doom, quake or Mame ;) wil get them to post an article.

we need screens of a mame emu asap when its launched ;)

hi,
i'll write the pcaction... a german pc-mag. Its no console mag but they might be interested :p they have a small console section.

Micro Mart (a weekly uk computer magazine) have recently (25th-31st August 2005) done a three page spread on the GP32 (4 years too late ) AND the GPx2.

Here`s some scans/pics i did, The text should be quite readable.

But, as with most of those articles, not altogethor accurate. The gp32 definitely CANNOT emulate the gba at any reasonable speeds.

Actually, you should try GPAdvance, it ran relatively well from what I tried.

One initial article down, and I am planning to get a GP2x as soon as possible so that I can provide continued coverage on the console and software. Need I say more?

If any developers can keep in touch and hook me up with press sample code, and anyone else can help me get connected for other things it would be much appreciated. Had to get a GPx2 out of my own pocket... then again, don't we all :)

yeah i sent the slashdot in

they changed my wording but its given the main sites quite a few visitors so its all to the good.

Never listen to comments on there, its mostly prats that comment anyway

Wow, some of the comments are... remarkably stupid. :( I would've thought Linux users would be a bit brighter, but these guys can't even read a spec sheet without getting things upside down and inside out.

*sigh*

yup theres some real tools on slashdot

what the gp2x needs is jeff minter! ;)

You should point out the GP2X to Atomic Magazine, Australia
http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/

It's pretty much the only magazine focusing on a market who would be interested in your device, in Australia.. There would be a few others but Atomic is more the leading edge underground style magazine.

I just ordered a GP2X today and can't wait for it :)

Best of luck,

Paul.
