Excellent article. Only question: When do the UK citizens get to vote on their next Prime minister (or House of Commons) ? I didn't know what IED meant but I've looked it up and it's too sad to link.
 
The next election is currently required to happen before May 2024. They're meant to happen every five years and despite the last one being held in December 2019, apparently it defaults to May again next time, unless it's brought forward for any reason. In basic language, we've got three more years of this shitshow before we get a chance to kick him out.

Yes, but even if it does somehow go back to being royal prerogative, odds are that it's likely to be called in early 2024 anyway.
Maybe but the whole reason they’re trying to do so in the first place, is because Johnson and his Privy Council committed treason in illegally advising the Queen to prorogue Parliament... N.B. Witness the MP for Orpington rewriting History on this subject in the HoC today. Should be called to correct the record! And then resign.
