Moving along

@Hồng Thất Công
you should have been here when the pandora was about to be released and the months after. I think ED is used to people going nuts slowly, the closer the release date actually gets. and he can take criticism, if it is valid.

With all the complains, I can bet you guys this is the last iteration of this kind of device ED will stick his head in again...

I guess some metalinguistics is lost in a forum. With that in mind I think people complaining is a rare minority that usually leaves the forum after a short time.

What we have usually is people who understand that in a project of this nature there are things incredibly hard and understand that they may never come or come uncomplete.

Also there is a lot of sarcasm in many comments. Experience tell me that this is interpreted differently depending on country and culture.

But complaining as: "ED is doing it wrong". I thing it's rare.

Must be hard. On the one hand, you need to remove all bugs before doing a small batch of daugtherboards... on the other hand each iteration costs a fortune... to keep the price down, you need to take your time, but then others complain about time... or quality.
Now, with a slight of hand, the focus was the case, so that the team could work on ironing out the bugs on the motherboard (thanks Nicolaus!). Now... the OS gets some focus (because that is also important) but also to keep us busy and not focus on the daughterboard (thanks Tony).
Elon Musk did the same thing. Instead on focusing that the rockets could not lift the intended capacity, he just sends a light car into space. All the focus is on the car, the model, the color, the dummy/stig that is in the car, instead of the rockets.
Bread and circus.

News is my bread, mp4's and jpg's are my circus...

@asimov-solensan : Yes, sorry about the sarcasm. Indeed you need to reinterpret things like:

1. ñ is not on the keyboard.
2. When can I preorder one with 8GB RAM?
3. *zombies roaming around screaming "neeeewwwsss"*
4. If I dont get a Pyra soon... I'll preorder something else, like a GDP Win3 with 8GB and 4K!
5. See you in 2 months...

as:

1. I'll take anything, just send me a Pyra
2. I'll take anything, just send me a Pyra
3. I'll take anything, just send me a Pyra
4. Take my money, just send me a Pyra
5. I'll refresh in 2 minutes and check again for news.

How to wait for two months:
Code:
import time

DURATION = (30+31) * 24 * 60
INTERVAL = 2

time_elapsed = 0
while time_elapsed < DURATION:
    Keydown('F5')
    time.sleep(INTERVAL * 60)
    time_elapsed += INTERVAL
Keydown is left as an exercise to the reader.

The car in space is just a hoax though. But you may believe it if you want. It is like Santa Claus but for adults.

Not a hoax as far as I know, but I bet all of the ballast they needed for the test they needed to run was in the mount that piddly little car was sat on. But the car was pure marketing, simple as.

As a side note, I think I just saw EvilDragon at the Bethesda E3 conference. I could be wrong though.
