All versions of Evil Dead 1 released in Germany (cut or uncut) are confiscated. The only existing version not yet confiscated i know of, is the british SONY release of 2010 ... and here it is only a matter of time. For Evil Dead 2 you can get an uncut FSK 18 version. The same is with Army of Darkness. Here you can also get the DirectorsCut, but only on DVD.
Here you can see all the movies and versions confiscated in Germany (with their German title ... Evil Dead = Tanz der Teufel):

Of course I've seen Evil Dead 1 and 2 too, long time ago on VHS.
I also watch schnittberichte.com every day, always before I visit the online TV guide. I don't want to watch cut movies (they are everywhere!
h34r: ) so I'm prepared. And since I don't watch any cut movies anymore, I relly have lowered my TV consumption alot.
For Example, if there is any Chuck Norris or Steven Seagal movie in TV here, you can be sure it is cut, even if they show it after 11 PM. But much worse are the big cencoring in Animes, at least on RTL2's Kids Programm. In Germany, many Adults still think Animation is only for little Children. So of course there can't be violence in. ^^ to fit this, they actualy raped series like Drgonball, Naruto, One Piece, Innu Yasha....
I'm glad that at least there are some uncut Animes in the Evening program, but the great times 10 Years ago on VOX, that showed NGE or KITE or MD Geist, Armitage and even Urotsukidoji (!) and alot more are gone. OK VIVA showed also Animes, Hellsing was great but in general stuff like this is still not really accepted, even Dragonball Z, which was really successful here, and still is was abused as reason for Amok Runs.
At least, they keep the original musik and Names in Animes, I've really seen horrible stuff from US americanized Anime shows, you can't imaigine what they did with Sailor Moon i America for example, really bad IMHO.
