Was wondering if anyone considered doing a native port of world of goo for those of us who dont wish to install android/already have the game and dont want to purchase it through the android app store?

Its commercial and non open source so you would have to contact 2DBoy to either port it themselves or request just the source and not the data files so someone like Pickle could port it like he did with vvvvvv.

2DBoy was contacted a long while back when the Pandora was first "released". They said World Of Goo was very floating point heavy and probably not something that would run well on the Pandora's processor. Since then they did the Android port which probably involved a lot of heavy rewrites. In other words, even if you had the desktop version of the code it probably still wouldn't work very well, not without extensive changes. You'd have to go with the Android version as a base, at which point you may as well just buy the Android version. Or wait for it to come up on the Humble Bundle again.

Perhaps in this case it would be worth contacting 2DBoy again to request the Android version source for someone to do a native Pandora port.

The Android version source would be Java based and so...

a) Compatible with any device that runs Android.

B) Require some work to actually port to c++/C to make a native port...
What most people don't understand about android is that a lot of stuff still uses native C/C++ *.so libraries, including World of Goo. Java is just used to load said native library.
