Especially when you come from the Atari ST version, this port runs so fluid!
I thought i was "good" at track 1 - in the new hard level now I terribly fail again :D

Stunt car racer on Commodore 64 was my best car game. Where can I find the last build(07) of STUNT CAR RACER REMAKE?

For those with Windows machine that want to play StuntCarRemake, I have made a build available in the 1st post (it's a 32bits build and use Direct3D9, only windowed, so it should run on most PC).
[doublepost=1557601381,1557579908][/doublepost]And I have also refreshed the PND with latest latest sources (and built with gcc 9.1, not that it should change much, but still, very up-to-date :D )

Build 08
------------

  • Fresh build with latest sources
  • Update libs

I have modified the 1st post: Windows Exe and AppImage Linux (64bits) can now be found in the release tab of the github repo, and I also made an Emscripten version of it, playable on Browser that support WebGL and WebASM (that was my ginea pig for gl4es on Emscripten).

There's a nice review of the remake in this month's Linux Magazine :)

Funny that they credit ptitseb's github as the source, when as far as I know originally ptiseb only ported this to the Pandora (as much work as that was). But ptitseb's github project credits a sourceforge page, so I guess his github is the most open version of the sourcecode that exists, Good work anyway!

The original sourceforge project is windows only, I ported it not only to Pandora, but to linux in general (and Emscripten now). Also, the original project is inactive for for a few year now, were I tried to continue a bit the project (for now, adding widescreen support and cockpit bitmaps, and superleague). Hopefully I'll add Championship mode one day.
