Interesting. Mind saying which model? My Yinlips is resistive and multitouch...
Careful, it's not because the colors are rich that they are color-correct. Some OLED screens are way too "red" for my liking. Is an oled screen plausible? The ps vita screen has deep rich hues.
Its quite lovely.
Hopefully stuff like colour balance will be editable via software, it can be done with TVs and computer monitors so I don't see why we can't do the same with the Pyra. Some OLED screens are way too "red" for my liking.
I would love that screen but at that price, just "no thanks".I actually can get the 1280x720 OLED which is in the new Blackberry.... but price would be 150 EUR, even buying thousands of them, so it's just not feasible (it would mean the sales price of the full unit might go up to 600 - 700 EUR, and that's what I don't want).

Sadly not.Any other 720p options ?
Then please, please make sure hardware scalling is realy easy to use as refreshing a real 1080p at 60fps will be hard otherwise... (I for one dont expect a scale2x shader on the rumored soc to reach over 20fps on a 1080p screen, I for one plan on using a 540p resolution and upscale everything using the hardware scaller)Sadly not.Any other 720p options ?
5"If you don't mind answering, what screen size are you looking at/for?
Well, EVERY SoC these days should have a good hardware scaler I guess,Then please, please make sure hardware scalling is realy easy to use as refreshing a real 1080p at 60fps will be hard otherwise...
