Port Requests

Actually, the linux demo has the source included in the 7z binary distribution.

EDIT: Looks quite feasable to port, it only uses SDL2 rendering and I can't find any native OpenGL calls in it, so it's unlikely it does anything GLshim or native SDL2 can't. Resolution-wise it should be possible to hacking it up to 800x480 without too much trouble.

Never saw this thread before  . I am going to insist a little, sorry for do this :p . It would be awesome if we can get an Ikemen port:

http://sourceforge.jp/users/supersuehiro/pf/ikemen/wiki/FrontPage
From what I see, the sources of Ikemen are not there. In that repo I can see the soruces from the dll and script of the engin, but not the engine itself (the soruces for the ikemen.exe file).
There appears to be code here:

http://sourceforge.jp/users/supersuehiro/pf/ikemen/scm/tree/master/

and

https://code.google.com/p/ikemen/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%253Fstate%253Dclosed

However, it looks to me like ikemen.exe is compiled from ikemen.ssz, but not sure what compiles ssz files though

I don't think so.

I assumed ssz files are script languages for ikemen, and ikemen.exe is the engine (closed source?)

Though ikemen is only a 16kb file. Looks like it runs ssz.dll on main.ssz; however, the ssz library code is not in the project. Looks like the code in both repos is a bit old.
I can't find anything on ssz.dll anyway, or on an ssz language, so maybe it's either not been updated in the repo, or they've closed source the project :/

No, if i read corectly, needs chip mashine to download the tunes, i want a programm where i only needs to brows per exememple my super nintendo rom direktory, and it plays maybe the tetris soundtrack direkly from the tetris.sms file ..

But i will take a look at chip machine

I don't think that exists. If it does, it need a huge database to know all rom file and position (and possibly encryption / compression) of every music... Quite huge.

ChipMachine need internet access yes, but you will find your Tetris from SNES on it's database.

Deadbeef supports a number of computer/console formats. You don't usually play it directly from the game rom, rather you get an extracted version (like all the C64 SID files)

You can try this file : http://ocremix.org/chip/6478

Or this site: http://www.snesmusic.org/v2/

Ok, thangs for the answers, i will try chip machine and deadbeef the next pandora session..

Tetris was more some sort of example, i mean its soundtrack it something i would never forget.. :(

Hi all :)

Hi again :)

This is certainly old news to you, but I just stumbled upon a GP32 emulator for Windows, GeePee32.

It appears to have been ported to Linux / SDL a while ago. I couldn't find any sources though...

EDIT: just tried to contact the author (FireFly), but his email address is no longer valid... :(

Cheers, Magic Sam
try searching for real name as you can see from this picture

good luck!!
Got a reply from the author of GeePee32:

The GP32 driver in MESS (www.mess.org) is more advanced than my standalone emulator. It even has sound.
Opinions ?

Cheers, Magic Sam

Will you please have a look on the Java Playstation2 Emulator?

When you got Minecraft,Halflife and other Incredible Things to got work, maybe this too ;)

The nice thing here is that its Java Based and you have done incredible Things with Java :D

https://code.google.com/p/jps2/

Here the svn Page:

http://jps2.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

Even it will be slow but please try to port it for us,maybe Playstation2 2D Rpgs are playable ;)

Aaand you would be the first one who Port then a Playstation2 Emulator for ARM Machines (there are lot of Fakes out)

@ingoreis: a PS2 emu, in Java? Bah, I can give it a try, one day, but I seriously doubt it can be useable, even for non-action games. I put it in my todo (but not in high priority, sorry).

I stumbled across this game while browsing the Llamasoft site. It's a game that was originally for the unreleased Konix Multisystem called Attack of the Mutant Camels 89. The source code was released by Jeff Minter whom I assume is the original author.

Source code is here, https://github.com/SavourySnaX/AOTMC89

Also, there is a working emulator for this console and from what I've read the creator plans to release the code. Maybe this could be ported to the Pandora if/when that happens.

I am updating the wxPython pnd.

In the process, I have worked a renpy build that use GLES2 renderer (and compatible with newer graphic driver).

I was thinking of creating a PND of a renpy game, that use wxPython as runtime, and I was thinking of "Sunrider - Mask of Arcadius", because it's free and need hardware accel to be usable. But it's a big download (1Go!), the writing is a bit small (but still readable, the game is designed with 1920x1080 screen in mind!) and it's rating is 17+

What do you think?
