Nintendo 3DS

Well, we all knew this was coming.

I really hope they don't make it like the original where it adds so much extra plastic along the right side. Hopefully the can make something that is more centered, or some how add the second nub to fit over the BIG extra space now present on the right side. The first CPP was just ugly. Nyko's efforts look waaaaayyyyy better.

Nevertheless, it'll still make the 3DS XL much bigger.
Bigger isn't for sure an issue(I'm sure this will no longer fit my DSiXL case though), but form factor is everything!

Just ordered one of these Monster3DS, and the new Mario game, the new Harvest Moon Game, as for Heros of Ruin,

And i want to play my old DS Games on this Monster 3DS, wonder how they lock on this big screen :)

And i can give my old 3DS to a visitor, who wants to play some Mario Kart 7, or Mario Kart DS against mee :)

Somewhone remind the 42 Game Klassics DS Game?? Or Korg DS 10 ?? These two games should also be great on the 3DS XL :)

@matzesu - Are you going to do a System Transfer, to move all of your stuff from the standard-sized 3DS to the 3DS XL?

Discussion I've seen around and about, suggests that it transfers absolutely everything - every Play Coin, every statistic, every StreetPass hit and related record, all of your software (including Ambassador games). *Everything*. Apparently it's like transplanting the original system into a new shell - but without a screwdriver. :p

The only Problem is: When i finish the Transfer, the old 3DS XL System lost the Userdata, its good enough for a visitor System for Mario Kart 7 etc, but then i have to use the XL

I dit a cancel for the Harvest Moon Game, because it istnt that Game i wantet, the Harvest Moon Game i wantet to buy was a realy new Harvest Moon game, this Thales of the Two Towns is just a Port from the DS, so nothing for me, i wait for the 3DS Harvest Moon which comes out 2013..

When you do the transfer from 3DS to 3DS it transfers "EVERYTHING" from the original to the new unit and then wipes the original clean. The new unit will have your friends, coins, ect. Then you transfer your sd card to the new unit, as the old 3DS will no longer recognize the files on the card, but the new one will. Then if you access the e-shop with your new unit, it will act just like the last one. You will have whatever points where there before, and you can redownload any of your previously purchased games.

This process can only be done 5 times total, so please note this fact if you plan to go back and forth between 2 units(I wouldn't suggest doing that). I'm doing the transfer in august once the 3DSXL is released in the states, but I won't do it again until a color comes along that I might want, so then I will have done it twice, so I'll still have 3 transfers left for any revisions that may come down the road.

My old 3DS unit will be a "Multiplayerunit" for visitors etc, the 3DS XL will be my Main Unit, so this shouldnt be a Problem,

I Preordered a Blue 3DS XL, because then the diverence isnt that big beside of the screens ..

isn't everything saved to the sd card anyway? I guess it should be natural then that it just works on the new system.

You just can't move the SD card, as that won't work. Otherwise you could take games you bought, and loan them to friends and family. The games and apps are encrypted on the SD card to only work with the system they where bought for, Once you do the transfer, the system then allows the new 3DS to read the old card. If you put the SD card back in the original 3DS after the transfer, it won't work. So this is why you can only do the transfer 5 times, otherwise people would abuse the system and just transfer to any and everybody.

Any Sugestions of a Carry Case which fits the 3DS XL, and the Circle Pad Pro XL (The CPP for the 3DS XL) ??

The 3DS XL isnt a Problem, as Cases for the DSI XL would fit, but whit the CPP XL, this cant be divicult..

Yep! It's nice to see the return of the Felyne helpers, too - they're just so much more appealing than Cha-Cha (who temporarily replaced them in Tri and Tri G) was.

A shame that I'm now highly unlikely to purchase it even if it does get localised... :p

little miss high standards...a sony product i can understand, but this is one of the rare things capcom is doing right, unless you know something i dont.....besides the localisation of the one thing theyre doing right....yeah you know what, fuck em all :|
