Moving along

If ED decides to release the 2GB version while the 4GB version is still being worked on, that might come out soonish.

thanks for the update, ed!

i'm too ok with 2gb ram.
would be nice to reuse the 4gb as 2gb modules, so no money wasted.
but as all the powerthings were simulated ok, i'm optimistic too, that there is only some kernel parameter off.

and... have a good trip! :)

is it not possible to ship with a sub-optimal kernel?
I would be (very) happy with wifi and a usable terminal
of course it must be stable
give-a-dog-a-bone / agile
post live performance boosts ftw

Now, here's a question for you:
I know we've got quite a lot of OpenSource fans around here. Maybe some know some good kernel developers, who are able to include and improve hardware support and fix various issues.
We can provide a test unit as well as the needed datasheets - but it needs someone who is capable of debugging and fixing low-level things.
I am fine paying for the work as well.

Any ideas or contacts? :)

I propose you to contact Artem Mygaiev from EPAM. I believe he will found a solution to this problem. Also, he has strong support from TI.

Interesting email on the Kernel Mailing list.
