I suppose i am showing my age by not referring to them as tracks,

Anyway after a recent discussion with a friend who asked this, if i was only allowed one, which would i NEVER get tired of listening to.. after much deliberation i managed to pin it down, not an easy task as i used to own a Vinyl emporium & have long ago stopped counting how many Albums/Singles i have (much to my significant others dismay)

and the winner is..

well, its not remotely a-typical of the music i like, but i've pretty much been listening to this song since i was in the womb and though not a version i have on record, this is my favourite version of it

edit: man i can never work out how to post videos on forums any more. it used to be so straightforward!

This is a surprisingly easy question for me, believe it or not. :p

The answer is The Great Wall Of China, by Billy Joel. Fantastic, and quite little-known, song - it was the B-side on the cassette single of The River Of Dreams (which in turn promoted the album, River of Dreams), and in my opinion it's the better song. :p

I lost my actual vinyl collection years ago but I think the best record ever made is probably Tear for Fears - The Hurting...

oh, i love TFF :) especially TFF - Elemental album

Ah, interesting I haven't heard that one! I haven't followed them in that much detail. I did pick up a copy of 'Everyone loves a happy ending' a few years ago, which I loved. One to stick on my Christmas list, thanks :)

I would be very suprised if it matched The Hurting (perfection IMO) but I will give it a go!

I bought Elemental. It's _okay_ - I've listened to it A LOT but i'm sorry it's no 'The Hurting'. Thing it it's got me heavily into listening to TFF! I got 'Songs' coming next!
