I'm +/- number 700... on ED's list................................
May you reveal your ordernumber of ED's shop to me? Mine is Bestellnummer: 2979. If I have yours I could at least have a coarse estimation if I have to wait much longer.

approximate 200-250 on ed's list.
I asked my position earlier this year.

Oh, I got it today.
Oh, I switched it on.
Oh, it crashed.
Oh, now it won't even turn on any more.
Oh, and the screen doesn't stay up, it just falls back.
Brilliant.

It will be sorted out as soon as you contact them.

Just cancelled my order today. Eventhough I reordered a few weeks ago.
I'm gonna wait and see how it goes, and if it's as good as it's supposed to be, I might buy one from the second batch.
I have to say I've been through different phases since I first placed my order.
- Big excitment during the order
- The wait
- The "no news, no explanations" period
- The doubt
- The reorder and the excitement again
- Then I got really bored of the wait, bored of a few things on the forums.
I think I got really pissed off, not because there are delays, but because the devs haven't been really honnest about it as they knew, when they opened the order in the first place, that the console wouldn't be ready by the end of december.I lost a lot of trust when they stopped giving any kind of relevant and positive news.
I know some of you here might slag me off but, hey, that's just the way I feel. On top of that I think I should probably spend less time in front of a screen and that wouldn't help. I'm still very interested in the whole project but more willing to wait until later and put my money in a saving account for now.
Have fun guys

For all of the techheads: here's ps ax:

Code:
  PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND
    1 ? Ss 0:04 init [5]

Any other things I could list for you?

A dmesg would be nice. We had that some month ago, however, it might have changed :)

What a strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I asked my position earlier this year.
Hm, I got 263x and I thought I'm pretty much at the end of the list.

We should maybe do this in the German forum. Although, it's possible that some non-German speakers ordered with ED as well.
So here I go:

4th October

31xy (x is rather low :) )

I finished the bank transfer on the 18th of October. I hope he uses the date from the order :)

Even if the unit wasn't flashed, or someone kills it or whatever.. it can be reflashed, or booted from SD. Theres no way to brick a pandora, unless you physically damage it :)

I got the confirm email yesterday at 13:30 (12:30 uk time), and I did take UPS shipping. Now, I did have it sent to Amsterdam, where the main airport (and probably UPS HQ) is, and I got it like 15 mins ago or so.
Cool, thanks. I got my confirmation about a half hour before yours, so I guess mine is in the country... somewhere. I am comparatively out in the sticks though (I had it shipped to work in Delft) so we'll see if it turns up today or tomorrow.

Cool. Maybe a couple of processes one could do without if very short of memory, but it looks pretty lean!

Very nice, thanks.
