i've uploaded a new version, but i wasn't able to test it. (i can't find my usb2gp32 cable)

it's based on woogals latest code, which means gamma support.

compiled with gcc 3.4.1 and crunched with b2fxec 0.5d and with an icon.

if someone could tell me if it work's i'd be great!

--- removed due to lack of stability ---
i hope to have a new version up this evening (27.Jul)

I tested it:
the gamma control is OK but the game reboot when I 1st tried it
now it is OK (Maybe a battery problem)

Could you please make more versions of GPQuake
I mean :166, 180, 200,...
(I would be pleased to have a 220MHz version :) )

see you

Doesn't work for me though. When I try new game, the font gets all screwed up, and I think it reads

Version no.1 SERVER (blahblah CRC)

Introduction

hmm... bad
i gotta get a smc reader/writer to test it...

when exactly does it crash?
standard gamma setting?
smc size? (the bug should be removed, but who knows...)
shareware or standard pak?

washo: could you please too answer the questions?

or has anyone gotten gpquake (0.1, 0.2=woogal or 0.21) working with geepee32?

btw: does the icon work and if yes how do you like it?

woogals version works in geepee32 and so does yours i put the gamma up and its all good

its funny tho as it uses the files from my smc and it dont work with your fxe on my gp32 but it does on geepee32

also the monsters were disabled in the first version before woogal touched it believe it or not i actually spent 2 hours running around in quake at 2fps :p

and i saw no monsters so it was something that was commented out i guess

here is a pic of yours running on geepee32 with gamma up

I have a normal GP32 (can clock up o 172mhz)

The new 0.21 Quake crashes when loading the first level.

Sometimes it then fucks up the fonts. (i guess it's just the complete screen fucking up)

So: It doestn work for me.

Hi
I tried with a higher gamma value and it worked without prob
the icon looks likethe logo from the old quake1
it is crashing if one wanna change the gamma during a game
smc :64M
shareware pack (I think)
standard or higher gamma (both are OK)

see you

I have tried both versions on both of my 128MB SMCS and it always crashes as I go to start a new game. I have put both versions on my 64MB SMC and it runs fine so I would say that the problem is still there :(

Your 128 smc has a problem, even if other fxe work on it.

Format your 128 smc. ;)

Tried new version. (NEW-UNTESTED) on 128MB SMC nothing on screen after loading FXE. On 64MB SMC runs fine though crashes if adjusting gamma during game.

Brightness has to be pulled to right-end. or should not touch.
If Brightness is located in middle. game won't start

And if you want change Brightness, it should be done before New Game

Sorry for poor english;;
