Best I've seen is within the GPH Caanoo flyer: "There's nothing you can expect from it"

Expecting to charge from a computer and use the device in any real capacity at the same time isn't realistic. It's not for the Pyra either. Even my JXD S7300 couldn't manage that.

Clever strategy actualy! They are just setting your expectations low, so that you will be pleasantly surprised when you get one
If they manage to do that they must have a better chinese factory environment than you had with all the Pandora fuzz. Indeed, they are pretty fast, at least when it comes to the case design. If they really want to show working prototypes in April, that would be fast (but as mentioned before: that would've been REALLY fast from the start.
Diversity? I kinda thought they might have some board, even if it is only a dummy. I guessed that they may have had various things, including input, populated to make sure things worked ok with the case design. That would explain the top and bottom row white keys, but not the one in the middle. Like I said, it was a guess, and I have no real clue.Looking at those photos, I imagine they have a PCB with the sticks, external sockets and perhaps some buttons populated.
However, that's easy compared to routing all the necessary connections into a BGA SOC.
Any idea why some of the keys are white, and some black?
Guess the caanoo did not turn out to be the "reality 3d console either"!
