They dropped the 2
Well, I hope they flushed afterward.
They dropped the 2
I am really looking forward to that Max-Thingy because the Win1 I got is too small for most Windows games (in my opinion) and the Pyra will satisfy my mobile needs for gaming and working.
@vcoleiro1 as soon as you are allowed to post stats and features, feel free to post them here please.
The name of device has changed to GPD WIN Max. They dropped the 2
Sounds good. Of course the Pyra batteries are newer and better than the old ones. I just see the compatibility as little "bonus" and it never hurts to have an spare Battery for emergency cases around that can fit in your device. Even if it's only an old Pandora Battery. With one small plastic part inlay, they fit and could theoretically be used
Pretty easy, actually. I made sure the Pandora battery fits perfectly from one side, so you only need the plastic inlay (or some other padding) on the other side and on the backside (as it's thinner).
But it doesn't really make much sense, as Pyra batteries are newer and have more capacity.
Well, if you can manage to make a decent replacable Battery solution for Pandora and Pyra, it should be also possible for a much bigger company to do the same, if they wanted to.Replacing is not the issue. Opening the case, and unplugging the battery, replugging a new one is not that bad (except for the glue... I hate that stuff).
The problem is the availability.
Errrmm.... that defeats the purpose of using it on the go.
I am playing with Launchbox, RetroArch and an SN30 Pro at home
That should help a bit with the confusion then. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out if/what this had in common with the Win 2.
But are they going to bring the numeral back for the next standard sized version? And is the next max sized unit, assuming this is popular enough going to be the Win 2 max or the Win max 2 or something?
Although I'm not specially attracted to any of its products. I admire they effort on devices with form factors or features that are different to anything on the market.
It's really refreshing in a market that focused in tablets and smartphones for the last 10 years.
What do you mean by "form factor"?
