GP2X Shop Logo-Artist wanted :)

I think you should call the new Shop openhandheldshop.de and link the old shop.gp2x.de to openhandheldshop.de.

Doesn't make sense, as most of my products are not Handhelds anymore ;)

Also, that's a looong name...

yep, I found some time to make a bunch of new/modified versions with "dragonbox".

Thanks! I included my favourite one onto the shop right now.

What do you guys think?

Hehe, nice one :D Though a bit too much Pandora related...

I like the GP2X Logo but you should go for a new Name, the GP2X is to old.

My first idea was to long, that's right.

But I don't understand the sentence "Doesn't make sense, as most of my products are not Handhelds anymore"

Your biggest Point is the Pandora, what do you want to sell?

Linux Desktop Computers?

Sorry, but I don't understand that...

Have you checked out my shop?

The only handheld besides the Pandora right now is the Caanoo, hopefully soon the GCW Zero, but the Caanoo will die.

The other things I have are the Everdrives, Retrode, iControlPad, Retro-Gaming accessories and systems, etc.

OpenHandhelds are just two products among a lot others.

And the bestselling products (that's why they're almost always out of stock) are the Everdrives.

Hmm, yeah the Everdrive and Retro consoles...

It's okay never mind...

To be honest, I'm not that into dragons and tried another thing: the dragON button.

Some of the logos would also work animated (think of the game studio logos at the beginning). If we have some progress I can provide the vectorgraphics for someone who's able to do so. Unfortunately, I'm not.

Most of the fonts/elements are free, a few are donationware or "ask-for-permission-ware"...

Cheers!

From left to right, top to bottom, comments:

  1. the 'shop' looks misplaced

  2. looking good

  3. too loose/cluttereed

  4. good, make the on button smaller?

  5. too spaced out

  6. see 3

  7. Only if ed stocks stuff from aperture labs :)

  8. not readable when scaled/in greyscale

  9. good, apart from the X -looks like sticking plasters

  10. maybe try a different coloured X

  11. could be hard to read

dragonbox_3.png

maybe the g, b, o and o could be made more boxlike...
