In a year or two maybe.
Certainly the hardware is there.

Yep... there's gonna be a £10'er or so from me for a full speed emu, which i'd use for only Harvest Moon and Shining Force games...
Never said there was. I'm sure you know that legality doesn't stop a Big Giant Company (tm) from sueing an individual, out of which comes having to pay for lawyers and the like.Phil posted on Dec 11 2005 at 10:38 AM said:THERE IS NOTHING ILLEGAL ABOUT EMULATORS!!!
That may be how it works in the US but certainly not how it works in Sweden. Don't take for granted that every country has your ridiculous laws and procedures regarding sueing.iignotus posted on Dec 11 2005 at 05:11 PM said:Never said there was. If such a case properly goes through trial, surely the emulator writer would be acquitted. However, most individuals would get ruined by the fees it takes to defend themselves (as no contest doesn't get you very far), and would much rather comply with the cease-and-decist.

Well I guess you don't mind only playing Sweden-local games right? And, not that I condone it, but America does sometimes act like they own the world, and have been very succesful at trying to prove that point throughout history.pip posted on Dec 11 2005 at 01:17 PM said:That may be how it works in the US but certainly not how it works in Sweden.
