We had tons of visitors.
First, the event was the biggest we did, even if we don't have yet the numbers, the halls were awfully crowded.
And our booth, there were people permanently. We are exhausted, my voice now reach Chris Rea's basses ^^.
I took photos too and will upload them soon (do someone knows how to upload in batch like with the old boards, I can only do one by one now ?).

The Pyra !
Haha yeah we got a prototype just in time, with Debian and LibreOffice, so nothing sexy to show. But it didn't really matter as we had many Pandora to show what it will be like once ready.
Yeah the nubs rocks, the desktop is ultra-responsive, and the screen with the new touch surface is incredible (and big). About the case, it was not the final one so it's ok but not perfect yet.
Also no battery inside so it's light. And too bad that the keyboard leds were not here, it could have been great to light them like a Xmas tree.

Ah ok.
Also, I fixed a LCD cable 4 years ago in the Pandora case I repaired this week end. The Japan LCD cable looked like brand new !
Will post pictures.

[...] LCD cable from the hype black and grey Pandora.
I've said it before and I will say it again, the inner bezel of the Pyra lid should have been made black together with the small black parts, irrespective of case color, for better display quality, and because it just looks better...

Nice pictures, but the show being in France, I´d really love to see some retro TCR or even some Tente sets :D

edit: about the user´s questions, I think the pyra will get a lot of sales as soon as it can handle phone and internet. It sucks bad to have to deal with the world´s locked iphone/android crap. Internet access would be enough for me as I never do phone calls and my phone exists only as a portable internet device.

Looks like a nice convention, Also that's a nice old Toshiba laptop.
I agree. I looked at the big picture so I could admire it. I think most newish laptops I see these days are kinda ugly. Even fancy colors don't help them much.

I also like those palmtops! ;)

The Pyra !

By any chance did you try Slackware on it? I understand it might be a bit early for that, just wondering.

Well, the final arguments being "you can get Internet directly with 4G(LTE) and also use it as a phone", every ppl were astonished.
This reminds me that I was in a T-Mobile store recently and asked if I would have any trouble using the Pyra as a smartphone on their network. The sales person told me it should be fine. I would prefer to get confirmation from someone with more knowledge and experience, but it seems we may be able to use it on one of the major carriers in the US.
[doublepost=1480652219,1480651761][/doublepost]It is also nice to see the N64 controllers being used with the Pandora.
