I've played it and I thought it was pretty good but the controls were a bit awkward. I later founf out it was originally an N64 game, and I can see how the N64 controller would be perfect for it.
Bangaio is quite brilliant on the DC actually - the DC was an amazing 2D system too. I'm almost as upset about the Dreamcast's unnecessary failure as I am with Al Gore's loss in 2000.
Bangaio is totally in the Robotron tradition, with a hint of "gunstar heroes" screen-filling chaos. So any game with independant running and shooting directional controls is in the category. Total Carnage, Smash TV etc.

I didn't say it was a good as gunstar, just reminscent of gunstar. Maybe I just said that because it came from the same company (Treasure). It is unique however, and on Dreamcast, really fast and crazy.
