I like in Cambridge, UK - the city is dominated by a famous university - and the local government published a leaflet extolling the virtues of a reinstated railway - so it spends £185000000 on an a cheap imitation tramway - after 4 people in the public consultation think its a good idea - It now floods, cracks and bumps - but its all right, they can get the money back by suing the builders
