I have a 720p TV (well, technically it's 768p, I think). When I plug it into my computer using DVI>VGA and set the resolution to my TVs native resolution I get terrible overscan on all sides. It cuts off a little more than the standard Win XP taskbar and the equivalent on the other edges too. The only way I was able to hook my comp up to my TV was to hook it up using DVI>HDMI and set a custom resolution lower than my TVs resolution (it was a while ago so I can't remember the resolution I used, something like 600p IIRC).
My question is why isn't this happening on the MWeston's vid? Is it because the Pandora is outputting a SD resolution and his TV is upscaling the image to fit the screen? Or is his TV just better than mine and doesn't overscan? Or is there something happening in software?
