Gp2psx V0.36

AFAIK amongst other things, Tinnus worked with yoyo on littlejohn (multi system emu) for the Palm and Zod I think, and the pair deserve a freakin god like genius award for their efforts.

Glad for your support Tinnus! where's your site gone these days?

I'm an enduser, never have and never will claim anything else. I have never achieved anything noteworthy in my life. :p

I think it should be "Why you little!"

But multisystem emulator sounds like something noteworthy. :)

What, he killed Zodiac? Damn! I hope he doesn't kill 2X, too... :(
I think he means he broke a zodiac. Also you should try and limit how much you post. from the few posts on this page you sound like an very silly person.

Jarska is being facetious -- but sometimes it doesn't translate over the internet.

Always read his posts as being tongue-in-cheek. ;)

Haha... well, I didn't actually KILL the Zod, more like it came a little defective and over time it got worse. Still unknown WHY it got worse though :)

DOn't worry, I'll take good care of my 2X when I get it... uh... well, I took good care of the Zod but as I said it was always defective :p

Quantity is quality in itself. And silly is rather accurate description. :p

Could well be, that I should use more smileys... B)

Do you still use ya Zod, tinnus?

I've found that I don't really use mine: non of the emulators were fast enough to play most games with sound, and the battery never lasted that long....

Lovely screen though.

So, I tried something completely different today. I got one of art103's USB Host Hubs for GP2X today and played around with a External HDD. First thing I found out, is that loading a PSX ISO is muuuch faster with an HDD (No Surprise). But after trying Chrono Trigger I found an interesting Bug in GP2PSX. As expected the Startup Movie ran much better from HDD than from a SD. Thats becuase of the bandwidth of the movie of course, but the emulator stucks completely in a ~10 sec rythm for a few seconds and is rattleing on HDD. This is the whole movie along. Why? It looks like the cache gets empty and has to be filled again. But data comes much faster than with a SD, so how can it get empty?

The same thing happens for me on my sd.

I hope the next release has Unai's code in it with frameskip ^^ then I can show off ff7 to my friend who loves it once I get my 2gb sd :)

Big releases

FF7 at 30fps in battle eh? Pity it's only really about 7 though, since full 3d sections of the ps1 FFs run at about 15fps iirc, but with frameskip that'd be decent!

Boys but i have tried MORTAL KOMBAT 2 for PSX, but is very slow, =( is very important to create a selector for overclock the GP2X.
However is incredible to see the PSX on GP2X THANK YOU =).

Wow... just wow... I really hope it will be fullspeed someday xD
Even next year
