For Anyone Who Cares...

It looks nice, but nothing I run is giving sound (yes it's turned on in the config and not muted) and all sprites near the very bottom of the screen are clipped. What am I missing? <_<

EDIT: OK, now I have some sound, my GP2X was buggered up. But the sprites near the bottom of the screen are clipped or missing.

Looking very nice - although it seems a little slower now (although not sure if that's just me) even with sound disabled :(

Just wondering, what's the difference between disabling sound and muting sound? Does one keep the sound emulated but not audible?

The graphics glitch at the lower part of the screen is still there. Sound works nicely for me :). Earthbound gives around 35fps with sound, and then freezes when the chubby kid walks in the door at the beginning :p.

Sadly same for me too :( - Once this is fixed, I'll be incredibly happy, hehe. (It worked in the very first version and the second, since then, no go :( )

Other than that, it's looking great, and a nice way to end the weekend :D

UN...FUCKING....BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!

Squidge, you made my crappy weekend *blows off studying for midterms*

I could not be happier. Super Mario world runs perfect imo, the only problem is the sound speeding up and slowing down-but that doesnt bother me one bit :D. Im gonna try to scrape together enough money within the next week (or sooner) and donate. You deserve it. Thanks again for all the hard work, and dont give up! I can almost smell the perfection coming soon.

It's really nice, very playable, But Gngeo is taking up all my gp2x time.

Sounds too loud too, but otherwise fantastic work.

Great work. A couple of minor bugs I came across (not emulation-related):

After the settings are changed and applied, emulation for all games get extremely slow. Restarting the emu fixes it. (EDIT: Looks like this only matters if sound is disabled.)
Going to load savestate when a rom is not loaded exits the emu.

And on a positive note, I'm running right now with FS0, frame limiter, vsync, and no sound at 246MHz, and the speed is absolutely perfect. I've also noticed that some of the graphics problems have been fixed (probably half that I've seen). :D

This is a really nice release. Cant wait for more optimization and glitch fixes. The sound is not "loud" per say, its just that some frequencies are stronger than they should be.

Haha, stupid me, forgot that transparencies weren't optimized....Super Metroid is fun until you dive into the bottom of Crateira.

The graphics glitch at the lower part of the screen is still there. Sound works nicely for me :).
Is this a known issue, or does it only happen to some people? It's hard to play Arkanoid when you can't see the paddle!

I was wondering the same thing - almost every game I try seems affected by this, and the bottom is normally the most important bit. EG. Not being able to see Mario in super mario is a little difficult ;) - Glad to know there's more than just me getting this. It's the last thing spoiling it for me, hehe.

Lovely to see the progress though :) - Quite impressive.

Here's my FPS running sound in SquidgeSNES:

Zelda:
10 FPS at Nintendo logo
15-25 during menus
16-17 during gameplay
There's A LOT OF white noise in the background of the ingame background music.

Super Mario Kart:
1 FPS at Nintendo Logo
30 FPS during menus
9-10 FPS ingame
No white noise

I don't know what's causing the White Noise in Link To The Past, but it's a true shame. I wanted to play it with sound. T_T

But I'm glad that Super Mario Kart is running at what I consider a playable speed for that specific game.
