Suprised no one has posted this yet, there is a now a new video availible on Craigs site availible here :

http://www.gbax.com/gp2xvideos.html

Basically it just shows the prototype casing, nothing new to see really apart from the back of the unit which I personally hadnt seen previously. Still a bit disappointed that we havent seen a working unit as of yet, makes me doubtful that the release date in less than a months time will turn into a reality.

Sorry, what I meant was that its not been shown working while in its casing without being hooked up to an external power supply etc. I know there isnt much more technically involved in adding the prototype casing to a dev board but that just leaves me wondering more why they havent released any videos of a fully functional indepently powered GP2X even now a month before release?

I also read that the shipment of boards Craig reported he had received arent functional as of yet either with or without the casing, does anyone know the reason behind this? I'll admit I dont know much about hardware development but I do know about PR and surely people would be more likely to put their money on the table if they could see a final working product first.

Im not whining by the way Im just curious, theres probably reasonable explanations to all these questions...

Thanks

Hmm... that would be strange, as I posted it 30 seconds after it was up (I had an ICQ chat with craig at that time ;)

But nevermind, thanks for the news :)

And the unit does look sexy :)
