Some version of Diablo at some insane resolution I assume. Which version?
It's my second playthrough of the mod "Belzebub" for Diablo 1:Some version of Diablo at some insane resolution I assume. Which version?
I just tried that Belzebub mod. I must say it's really good. Difficult to go back to vanilla build after that. The only thing I don't like (at all) is that the Dungeons always reset when you load your savegame. I have read it's on purpose, but I really hate that. Other then that, it's a really impressive mod, full of good stuff (I haven't reached the Bucher yet, but I hope he still says "Mmmm! Fresh meat!!!" or it's not bucher anymore). It's my second playthrough of he mod "Belzebub" for Diablo 1:

This time via WINE on Linux, works like a charm.
Development stopped years ago and it will probably stay in beta state, but to me it's pretty much done.
They added quite a few game-play improvements from Diablo 2 as well and seem to have restored cut content since the new quests are all fully voiced by the original voice actors.
The only thing I don't like is, how they changed the Butcher quest.
"The Hell 2" also supports HD resolutions (although no zooming via mouse wheel, that's Belzebub exclusive), is currently actively worked on and has the Hellfire levels, but is said to be harder than vanilla and a bit convoluted, haven't tried it yet:

Yeah, they wanted the unified multi-player save system... in a single-player only mod. Beats me.I just tried that Belzebub mod. I must say it's really good.
