TV Out.

Those converter boxes will convert the signal to VGA and upconvert to a higher resolution, but you're still dealing with the same amount of information that is being sent over S-video. S-video will only give you at best about 700×486 interlaced resolution. No magic box is going to give you more than that, and in practice, you'll generally have less. If you have a TV or monitor with both S-video and VGA inputs, the display will look exactly the same on both.

Yes, I know, but I would still like to have this almost pixel perfect on my monitor (maybe black-out areas or somehow upscaled)..

Dot crawl would annoy the stuffing out of me, but thankfully I don't seem to even have any of that on my "CRT" TV.
I like to have fun by pointing out dotcrawl, interlacing, page tearing and such to a friend of mine. He never saw them before but now he sure as hell does and he HATES me for it.
