Allow me to answer everyone's questions concisely and for the last time. I shall begin with an anecdote.
When the GP32 launched, it was amidst a massive GBA hacker scene, and it drew attention from this area, and some homebrew GBA sites were inclusive of the GP32. But it wasn't until Hando launched GP32x, a website and forum dedicated to the GP32, that a community began to blossom around it. Then the GP2x came out, and the community jumped ship, mostly. The Wiz followed, but it's launch was mired by a project spearheaded by GP32x 'celebrities', shall we say? This is all well and good, but it stole a lot of focus from the Wiz, which you could argue could have been as big as the GP2x.
I can't let this happen to the Caanoo as well. I can't allow a perfectly good homebrew console to fall by the wayside. If it does, it will certainly be GPH's last console.
As you've probably seen, the reception to it, mainly by the pandora owners or supporters has been less than warm, and people interested in the console will be drawn here and disappointed by the lack of support.
Thus I want to set up a dedicated community for new owners of the Wiz and the Caanoo. And anyone else who fancies joining.
As for news, the Pandora has it's own news site, why can't the Wizanoo? The GP32x front page is complicated, with most of the Wiz news being saturated by Pandora posts. Less than 1000 people own a pandora atm. Extrapolate the figures, and you'll see that when everyone who ordered, has one, the Wiz news will be very diluted, and hard to find.
Also, the idea that anyone can post news means that developers can post their own games and applications right there on the blog.
I think that's it. Did I miss anything?
