I still have

904 c64 games,
393 genesis games,
10 gp32 games
543 nes games
698 ST games
297 MSX games

and 132 Gamboy game to complete.

When i fnished them all, the gp32 will be obsolete for me.

Will all the (good working) existing emulators for the GP32 there are at least 60.000 games (if you own the original cartridges, tapes and disks) to play on the GP32. Not to forget that there are also several hundreds of good homebrewn games. I don`t think so, that my GP32 will cover with dust. It will break before I played all the games :)

The GP32 has had its day, and was ready for an upgrade. I hope a bullet is put through any more work on it, so as not to compete with the new product

For me its not the homebrew; emulators; games themselfs . Its that all that is regularly updated, new stuff all the time to keep me interested. The GP32 had been incredible value for money.

But, I want to put it on the shelf now, because I want to move forward.

The story of Chrono Trigger MUST be retold to the next generation.

wow. you refer to it like it's a classical work of literature. it was a good game but the storyline wasn't all THAT amazing. in fact, i've never played a video game with a very good storyline. final fantasy 6 is the best so far but it's still a long ways off from a good Orson Scott Card novel..

I really liked the story of ff6-ff9 (didn't like 10 quite so much), riviera:the promised land (gba), xenosaga, and many more (too many to list). I think that many people (including myself) feel connected to the game characters even if they didn't have that great of a story (after all, they've spent 20-80 hours playing as them) and want others to have a chance to experience what they did.

About the gp32, I think that I will still use mine, but I will use it less and less after purchaseing the openEclipse (My name for the gpx2). The biggest problem using it for me is the condition of my gp32. I have an orignal unlit purchased from gbax that overclocks to 156mhz with a glass screen and a paint job (everything that was white is black). I attempted to add blue LEDs under the start and select buttons but after rewiring it 3 times I gave up (and now my start/select buttons feel a little weird and get stuck occasionally). I also have trouble hitting the diagnols. I have looked at getting a 166mhz+ flu or blu or blu+ but they are just too expensive (I'm kinda low on cash) so I just continue to use my old one and will continue to until it breaks of all of the emulators I use on it are ported to the openEclipse/gpx2.

EDIT: I am still working on my VNS game although I am sure it will never be finished . I am trying to decide whether to release what I have before finishing all of the backround pictures or waiting (in which case, it may never happen. I have 3 "acts" so far and I haven't finished all of the pictures for the first one which is easily the shortest). PM me if you want a copy of it (if you do, I will want your feedback/help)
