The Communication Cube

Sorry for not being more precise with my question - could you compare them to regular PSX or XBOX sticks?
What do you mean by floating?
I'm looking for sticks to put in an arduino project where I don't have a lot of room. And I don't like those slide pads like on Pandora, PSP or New 3DS. I read that the Vita pads are optical and not resistive so those might live longer than regular pads and I wouldn't have to fiddle with calibrating magnetic sensors. Alas Switch sticks are not an option either, I dislike those too.
With floating I mean like the Pandora and the PSP, they have more of a disc compared to a stick, which makes it feel more floating.
The PSP and Xbox controller feel like you put the stick at an angle which provides some resistance.
The Vita has tiny sticks, they are comfortable and smooth on top, but they give little resistance compared to full sized controllers making them a bit more floating.
The Nintendo Switch 1 Joycon sticks are larger have more resistance, but I would still think they are somewhat comparable. The Vita ones cannot 'click' though like the Switch ones.
The Switch 2 joycons appear to have less resistance, they Switch 1 feels like they required a tiny bit more force. I guess modern controllers are 'lighter' in use?

I just compared all of them (PSP/Vita/PS4/XB1/XSX/Switch1/Switch2) and I think the Vita ones are more tiny joystick then floating Pandora-style.

The sticks on the Vita 2000 model are build differently from the 1000 I have. They apparently feel very similar but I did read that people complain they broke faster, but I don't have real numbers on that.

Mmmh...
Some company tested a blimp flying wind turbine (lifted with helium).
Watching the photos and video I can't help wanting to attach 2 o 3 phosphorescent hands behind it and use it as a clock face in the sky... (or maybe just two rings of leds or something)
(by "behind" i mean to the side closer to the 4 wings and with the shorter central bulge)
But do you think a 40m diameter clock would be visible at 2000m altitude ?
It's like a less than 20 floors tower on top of a 2000m mountain as seen from the beach... It wouldn't be visible, would it ?
