Hey, do we have anyone here from Newfoundland? ‘Cause if so, they’re about to get Larry’d.
Pagers are (or at least were as of ten years ago) still used by drug dealers because they can't be tracked.
Isn’t that essential with any encryption?Encryption could help, but key management has to be done properly.
I feel sometimes like I have thoughts that are too inappropriate to discuss here.
How? I can't find any Chinese vaccine which has been approved even for emergencies in the US or Canada. Unless they're going to activate all of those Chileans moles vaccinated using their spy vaccine, who are going to march up the continent and burrow under the wall and then attack you, I can't see a problemI actually have this sort of fear that China is planning an attack on the vaccinated, and they’re waiting for peak vaccination in the US to do it. I bring this up now, because President Biden is seeking approval for his booster plan, and if he doesn’t get it, the attack will probably commence shortly after that. However, if he does get approval for boosters, they’ll hold off to see how much higher the vaccination rate can go.
Specifically the elliptic curve variation on DH cryptography, if the DH Wikipedia page is anything to go byuse Diffie-Hellman to exchange new keys.
Yes, and whether you trust the NIST supplied curve is an exersise for the reader.Specifically the elliptic curve variation on DH cryptography, if the DH Wikipedia page is anything to go by
Yes, there's a hell of a lot of complexities in setting up key exchange scenarios, and it's easy to make mistakes. Which is why I generally trust peer reviewed open source tools with lots of authors and users, but perhaps that's just me, and Element for Matrix is open source yet caught up in this snafu too.EDIT: Speaking of key sharing vulnerabilities, https://matrix.org/blog/2021/09/13/vulnerability-disclosure-key-sharing

That being said, maybe not? https://interestingengineering.com/new-physics-experiment-indicates-no-objective-reality (though it’s a pre-print) - also belongs in Absurdism CornerA good way to describe the general/desired approach to IT bug reporting, analysis and resolution as commonly found in such Linux communities as this forum: https://interestingengineering.com/the-meaning-of-science-and-the-scientific-method

I don't know, but iirc flipping has occured every now end then (on the larger timescale). I wouldn't think though that the rotation ever reversed.Doesn't the earths rotation need to reverse?
