The Communication Cube

Look what I found in the kitchen:

Fucking disgusting. Haribos are much better.

No one was ever able to communicate the real benefits of the ps5 over ps4 to me. Higher resolution mehs me out.

On the other hand I'm super excited about the next Nintendo. I don't care what it's specs are I know it will be excellent (probably)

True, while I do like the Series-X works a bit better in 4k. But that's a tiny improvement compare to different games and experiences.
The PS5 has the new controller, I was told that is the biggest advantage.

Maybe, I did make the switch from Wii U to Switch. But if again they wouldn't let me bring (and use) my game licenses (eShop-ed as well as cartridge-d) from the last console, they may very well call the next one Nintendo Skip.

Maybe I've mentioned it before, but I returned my Switch unopened a few months ago. I thought it would just be more junk lying around. I bought it on a whim with the sudden realization that I have been stupid for missing out on the Zelda's (my favorite). But maybe inside I didn't want the pressure of having to beat it? And I just love the Wii so much... it plays N64+GC+Wii games all perfectly, N64 actually better than N64 due to no anti-aliasing. But I rarely play games for more than 30 minutes. I just like organizing roms and having these games from my childhood at my disposal. So to me a (successfully) cracked Wii is phenomenally more compelling than a Switch. I think I have a serious retro disease / nostalgia disorder.

I thought I was totally ffff cool of Nintendo to allow 3rd party controllers on the Switch.

Vegan, what are you a soy boy? :p
What are you saying? Would you explicitly select the gummis with gelatin? I think you would.

I'm unable to eat the ones with animal gelatin, I'll be vomiting quickly after. While I don't always like the vegetarian/vegan alternatives, so I usually don't eat them.

If I compare the PS4 with PS5 I don't see many advantages except it being a newer system with latest games, except having this newer type controller. Apparently it's also a nice controller to have this controller for certain disabilities.
Nintendo had it's exclusives obviously and the system is portable, but I guess the ease of playing for a while -pausing the game- and continue later makes it easier to start playing at all.
I also like that I have physical games, even though they might require patches to run properly. My Series-X feels like I need to download all games although I bought the disc version, and requires updates after that also.

Google is the "Don't do evil" company. So they must be trustworthy. All they want is for us to be happy and safe. They do not collect a lot of data about us and the little data that they do collect is only for improving our experiences with Google products so that our lives will be enriched. I once read a book about Google and it said that during a meeting when something was proposed, one guy stood up and said that they could not do that because that would be evil. Google does not do evil. It was even their slogan. Other companies are evil, but not Google.

In fact, believe it or not, but Google may be even more privacy respecting than Apple itself. And I once read on Apple's website that Apple cares a lot about our privacy.

Tesla's "dieselgate". TLDR; Tesla overstated range for their cars both in advertisements and dashboards and set up a callcenter to divert service appointments when customers wanted to check what was wrong.
I'm the first to think those electric cars have too much range, but it'd be nice if vendors didn't lie... Specially if they didn't make their cars lie. BEign told you have more range than you do might be dangerous, and being told your battery is empty when you can go 20 km more is paternalist...

Like printers.
At least one can stick to old cars and old phones to avoid these kind of anti-features in those products. I like to use technologies from the respective eras where the industries were advanced enough to be able to make good features but too primitive to make good (for them) anti-features. Obviously, for the car industry, the present is not in such an era.

Gas cars also do something similar, if the red light starts blinking you might still drive 100km. But while that is possible it's usually best to not do that.
Maybe recharging a car is also better before the battery is completely empty, although I think Tesla build-in some capacity to not have the battery break directly when empty.

According to Tesla website:
"Discharging the Battery to 0% may result in damage to vehicle components. To protect against a complete discharge, Model Y enters a low-power consumption mode when the displayed charge level drops to approximately 0%. In this mode, the Battery stops supporting the onboard electronics and auxiliary low voltage battery. Once this low-power consumption mode is active, immediately plug in Model Y to prevent a jump start and low voltage battery replacement."
I didn't realize, but this behavior might be annoying. If you hardly drive and you forget to plug-in your car it might get damaged. A gas powered car might get a flat battery and non working fuel, but it won't really be broken.
