Sd Cards

RAID 0 could also be used for security purposes. Encrypt the RAID 0 volume. Take away one of the cards, and nobody has a snowballs' chance of recovering any data whatsoever. I, amongst others will feel free to experiment. : )

How deep the SD slot in the Pandora is? How much will stick out an inserted SDHC card? I'm concerned about:

1. being able to take it out (very rare! so I can as well use some special tool for that, like a small razor)
2. being unable to accidentally take it out,
3. prevent any "wiggling" of it while inserted, because this may accidentally disconnect it, and cause software freeze or such.

PS: sorry - it's not related ro RAID... but at least it's related to the original topic :)

I am pretty sure that it is the same as the SD slot in the majority of other similar devices - the cards sit flush inside the unit, and most likely need to be pushed down both to set them in place and to cause them to eject (sort of like a toaster :p or the Nintendo DS' Game Card slot).
