Question About The Pcb+screen Blog Picture

Vorporeal

Yes, no, I, this is.
I'm just wondering - can the PCB+screen setup shown in the latest blog post actually display anything on the screen? I'm just wondering whether that just showed the components being attached or there's more functionality than we see in the picture.

(This post is directed more towards Craig/MWeston, I guess.)

This is pure speculation, but I'm betting that the next update from the team will show that screen in action.

Squidge's videos were done on the dev board. That board is a generic platform that developers can use to test software for the OMAP SoC.

MW claims that the actual Pandora hardware is up and running too, but we mere mortals havn't seen that yet ;)

You're thinking "Johny 5 is alive!" from the Steve Gutenberg film Short Circuit. A fine movie, but certainly not the quote's origin.

The original was from the 1931 horror classic Frankenstein: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xos2MnVxe-c
