Release Qemu for Pandora (for rebirth competition)

Nice, even when I don't really see the purpose. But fast and useable it seems :)

Does there always have to be a purpose for things? I *love* making stuff work on about anything, I also love alternative OS'es.

I don't see a daily use for this either, but it's nice to have it working ;)

I think I'll try BeOS in a while. Really like this better than DOSbox, most DOS games run better too.

ooh this is making me seriously consider creating disc images of my copies of gabriel knight: sins of the father and gabriel knight: the beast within to see if they will run on there. don't imagine two many problems for the first one but the second one might just be pushing my luck!

Real time video, like Phantasmagoria, I had Phantasmagoria 1 running on a 133 mhz powermac, it ran great, but in DOS I don't know... Video is the big point here.

realy amazing what you Guys have done ;)

Kolibri OS,Geoworks Essemble and OS2 works on qemu too???

Thats incredible News for me,thx :)

Gabriel Knight and co might can Work, see on Youtube the good old Riddles of Master LU(its a near Type Game)

I've tried Gabriel Knight 1 but I could not get it to run.

It does install, it does check for the cd, passes and then the screen stays black.

DOS 6.22 and an original disc image.

Many Blackscreen Errors can be solved by Change sound Settings,or try the Free Univbe from here

When you have no Luck maybe one of my DRDOS HDD Diskimages work :)

here with CDROM Suppport:

I'll try some more soon, this was just a quick test with no EMM386 (needed that for something else), will test with univbe, thanks.

Is loading c:\univbe\uvconfig.exe in autoexec.bat enough to have univbe run?

It says SciTech UniVBE is now configured for maximum performance.

Running univbe.exe afterwards gives me about the same screen, but without that scentence.

GK2 however still gives a black screen, no sound, no loading (no LED blinking)

I would try OS/2 Warp, but I don't want to image the 40 floppy discs it came with... if they are still even good.

I know I'm a little late to the party but finally decided to pick up Qemu for Pandora this week and can't believe how great this is. Every x86 game I was ever hoping to play (Wing Commander 3&4, Command and Conquer, Diablo, Starcraft, Dungeon Keeper, etc.) work flawlessly and even Nox (200Mhz Pentium Min Requirement) runs with perfect sound and slightly reduced frame rate. Thanks IngoReis and Mcobit for what is definitely one of the best things on Pandora!

I know some Games are very hard to get work, but Qemu is powerfull, thats right ^_^

So many possibilitys with a so little Software.

i try to make new Images for you all,but first i will puplicy the Images that i made little more :D
