Mega GP Mania
We will be having a logo design competition pretty soon. Something to think about.
And what, if people have big hands like me? The GP2X was Ok but slightly to small for me. (A old standard X-Box Gamepad is OK for my hands but not the small one, by the way. ^^ )MWeston said:Okay, here are the current dimensions so we can dispel the rumors that only giants can play this thing:
Footprint - 140x83x27mm
Each analog nub is 46mm in from the side to the center, with the nub being 15mm in diameter.
The dpad and ABXY buttons are both 16.5mm in from the side to the center.

BUT: for those complaining that you'd be unable (because of grip) to use the right analogue and the action buttons at the same time - you couldn't even do that on a regular PSX controller, so where's the problem?
LOL at the Homer part..Goity said:Ugh, this looks more like a one laptop per child than a games console. I can't believe that a console that should be trying to distance itself from the EEE looks like a cheap chinese ripoff of it.
I think the core question is this. Are you trying to make a games/entertainment console for a user market, or a Homer: The console for Homer?
Megagun said:-Will there be 'PDA-mode' support? With PDA-mode, I essentially mean that the entire unit is covered, except for the screen with touchscreen support. PDA-mode support can be given by supplying a case-like object that covers the 'keyboardarea' of the unit entirely.
Highly unlikely.

Two.
I think we've gone over this before, and the answer we had was "No".zaffercharles said:I think it will be fine now BUT 4 SHOULDERS!!! lool
Yeah, well, it's about as amateurish as the NDS Lite is....Goity said:I actually thought this thing was a joke at first when I saw it. The design looks more amateurish than any of the fan made target renders on this site, and it looks like a piece of a challenged kid's artwork.
You are kidding right? The NDS Lite's sales are still off the charts (or thereabouts).EvilDragon said:Don't know the NDS Lite? No wonder, it never had any success as it was so ugly and unusable..
